I’ve been doing some form or another of consulting, training and coaching in various business segments for the past 30+ years. I began learning about the art & science of professional coaching in early 2017. I had an active consulting and training business at that time. I decided I wanted to add the skills & tools of professional coaching to my existing business services.

When I first completed my professional coaching training and certification back in 2017, the main clarity I had about my ideal client was that they were leaders and likely entrepreneurs, much like the clients I had been serving.

By the Fall of 2018, I was recruited to join CTA’s faculty as a Mentor Coach / CCP instructor. They hadn’t had an opening in nearly 10 years. I felt very honored to be chosen! It was over the course of my first year of Mentor Coaching with CTA that it started becoming very clear that my ideal clients, the group of people I was having the most fun helping, were aspiring professional coaches!

Driven by a love for continuing my pursuit of moving from good to great as a professional coach, I earned my ACC credential from ICF in 2020. I’m close to applying for the PCC credential. As a passionate Life-Long-Learner, I also graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Arts in Global Leadership back in 2015.

Driven by a passion for seeing entrepreneurs make their business dreams a very real success, one that could pay their bills, I decided to think more deeply about how I could help new coaches where I saw them struggling the most… business skills and expertise. It takes more than coaching skills to become a profitable professional coach. One needs to build their confidence and competence around how to effectively launch a business.

In my free time, I love to hike, read, work with wood and travel. The only thing that makes any of those any better… is when my wife Tisha and I do them together!
